Colorado Springs Sports

Colorado Springs is a huge sports community. The city is home to the United States Olympic Training Center as well as the United States Olympic Committee. The United States Olympic Training Center has three different campuses; Lake Placid, Chula Vista, and Colorado Springs. The Colorado Springs location was the first of the three centers, which is why the Olympic Training Committee’s headquarters are located there as well. The facility has an Olympic-size swimming pool, a shooting range, and numerous gyms and weight training rooms. The center not only boosts tourism, but also helps satisfy sports lovers in the city.

Besides the Olympics, Colorado Springs is home to a professional minor league baseball team, a professional soccer team, rugby teams, a cricket club, and college sports teams that bring much passion to the community. Colorado Springs is also home to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
